Gift Ideas for Him

Are you a Black Friday mall shopper? A last-minute shopper? Or an online shopper?

We do most of our holiday shopping and an increasing amount of our day-to-day shopping on Amazon. I just find it more convenient and less of a headache. Crowding into the mall with a bunch of harried shoppers does not a festive, holiday atmosphere make – for me.

My friends never know what to get their male-counterparts, so I thought you might like to know what my husband loves. All of these items came from Amazon (affiliate links below), but I’m sure you can get them elsewhere too.

PORTABLE WIRELESS BLUETOOTH SPEAKER

I’m listening to Christmas music on this speaker right now. By the way, the Pentatonix Holiday station on Pandora is awesome. Anyway, my husband bought this speaker this year. We’ve taken it to the pool, to the park, to friends’ houses. The sound is incredible on this gadget. The bluetooth portion means that without any cords, we can stream music through it from any of our phones and devices. Some of the other features include:  a built-in MP3 player, a voice recorder, a speakerphone and best of all, it will charge your phone. Hallelujah!

It has 4.5 stars on Amazon out of almost 950 reviews. So, don’t just take my word for it!

It’s a little pricey at $129, but as a gadget we use every single day, it is totally worth it.

DRYMAX SOCKS

My husband swears by these socks. Seriously, do not get him started. He will tell you that after a half-marathon run they will be dry again within minutes. He will tell you that he has logged thousands of miles in a pair of these without them getting holes. He uses them for running and for work. He has dressy pairs and ones just like this.

All I can say is, I appreciate feet that don’t stink. A pair costs approximately $12.

BLUETOOTH HEADSET

I’ve had to listen to my husband wax on about how awesome this headset is and what a steal it was at $25. As a person who spends a lot of time on the phone for conference calls, he does appreciate a gadget that works well and doesn’t break the bank.

It does have 4 stars with over 5,000 ratings, so it’s been put through the test.

KREG JIG

I had seen bloggers using a Kreg Jig to make really cool pocket holes to conceal screws during the furniture making process. But I wasn’t totally sold on the price. Then we started to build a Pottery Barn Knock Off Bed and my husband came home with a Kreg Jig and boy, oh, boy did our builds start looking WAY more professional.

They have a larger version like shown above at about $139 and a junior version too at $40. It’s definitely a tool that will get you big bang for the buck.

So, those are my gift suggestions for the guy in your life. I’m pretty sure he’d be happy to open any of those gifts this year! If you have any other gift suggestions, let me know!
