Happy List: #235

diy brass pumpkin

Hello! Welcome to the Happy List!

This week on the blog I shared my new workout routine. No one asked for it, but I shared it anyway! I also shared the new way we are hanging plants on our sunporch!

If you don’t follow along with us on Instagram or Facebook stories, please join us there! That’s where all the spontaneous projects in between the blog posts happen.

Also, here’s your weekly reminder if you create something that makes you happy however big or small, please tag me! I really do love to see what you are making.

Now, here’s the Happy List!

PINECONES

If you live in a place where these gigantic pinecones are everywhere free for the picking, you’d better be picking them up and decorating with them! Oh, and then send me pictures so I can live vicariously.

REPURPOSED TELEPHONE BOOTHS

The iconic red telephone booths (boxes) in the U.K. are being repurposed as a place to store defibrillators, as tiny libraries, and even as mini nightclubs that raise money for charity. Read more about it here on the Positive News site.

Can you think of any other uses?

We spent two days in London a few years ago. My kids were so cute!

JUST IN CASE

If you or someone you know has Airpods, this trick of naming them with your phone number can help someone return them to you if they are lost.

I saw this tip on Cool Mom Tech and the directions on how to rename the Airpods are in this article.

MARS PUZZLE

I’m not sure if it would be harder to finish this Mars puzzle or to actually go to Mars.

Either way, it would make a great gift for someone who loves pulling their hair out a puzzle.

BUTCHER BLOCK

The butcher block counter in this kitchen is not messing around!

I like it.

FUNNY VETERINARIANS

More companies should use their signage space to tell jokes.

WHEN I GROW UP

I want to be just like this lady.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

“For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you will never walk alone.” —Sam Levenson

Thank you for reading today’s Happy List!

Be good to yourself and others this weekend.

I’ll see you here on Monday.
