Pretty Bluetooth speakers. That’s what I want.
I want to listen to my music and I want it to come from a Bluetooth speaker that looks good in my home.
That’s not too much to ask, is it?
Eh. Sometimes it feels that way, so I’m on a mission to dispel that myth.
If you can design a speaker with killer sound quality, surely you can design a speaker that looks elegant, fun, sleek or any other adjective that fits the style of someone’s home.
And I don’t want to use one that comes with a voice assistant like Alexa. No thank you. Just play my music. Don’t try to run my life.
Recently, we had to replace the bluetooth speaker that we had owned and listened to daily for at least 10 years. It was like a member of the family.
When we looked for a new bluetooth speaker, I wanted it to look good. Handy Husband wanted it to sound good. Priorities.
Here are the speakers we found during that process.
Pretty Bluetooth Speakers: Marshall Middleton Speaker
We ended up purchasing the Marshall Middleton Bluetooth Speaker. You really can’t go wrong with a Marshall product. If the name sounds familiar it’s because they make guitar amps.
The Middleton speaker was on seemingly every “best” Bluetooth speaker list in 2023. It has amazing sound quality, will be far louder than you’ll ever need it to be, can play for 20 plus hours, and it looks good too. The only downside is it is probably the most expensive on this list at $299. It should last us 10 years though.

Pretty Bluetooth Speakers: Crosley Montero Speaker
If Pottery Barn is going to sell a Bluetooth speaker, of course, it’s going to be good-looking!
This Crosley speaker is about 10 inches wide and 6 inches tall.

Pretty Bluetooth Speakers: Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth Speaker
Don’t let this picture fool you. This cute and portable Bluetooth speaker by Bose is truly portable. It’s just under 5 inches square and has silicon straps on the back so you can attach it to something if you’re out and about.
The blue color was my favorite but it also comes in black and white. It got 4.6 stars out of 5 from almost 1,300 reviews on Target’s site. That’s pretty darn good.

Pretty Bluetooth Speakers: Baolira Retro Bluetooth Speaker
Here’s a speaker that’s tiny, stylish, and really affordable.
I wouldn’t expect miracles when it comes to the sound, since it costs under $20 but it does have pretty good reviews (4.3 stars out of 448 reviews).

In Praise of Pretty Speakers: Troubador Bluetooth Speaker
What I find interesting about the Bluetooth speakers that I think are pretty is that almost all of them have what is deemed retro styling.
Here’s another example of that, this Troubador speaker that retails for around $100. This is tabletop size at around 6 inches wide and 4 inches tall.

Pretty Bluetooth Speakers: Mooer Guitar Amp and Bluetooth Speaker
Is anyone a fan of Barbie? If so, I found the speaker for you.
This speaker is cool because its primary purpose is a practice guitar amp. If you have a kid who wants to play the electric guitar, this cute gadget pulls double duty as an amp and a Bluetooth speaker.
If pink doesn’t drive your Barbie car, the speaker comes in different colors. It would look great in a teen’s room and is a little over $100.

Pretty Bluetooth Speakers: House of Marley Get Together Mini
Love the wood front on this House of Marley Bluetooth speaker. I didn’t see anything else quite like it in my search.

Pretty Bluetooth Speakers: Rondo Bluetooth Speaker
Let’s end this series with another good-looking Bluetooth speaker from Pottery Barn. I found this one on their teen site but age is just a number.
While it looks cute, it is only $23, so don’t expect the best sound experience of your life.

Do you listen to a lot of music in your home? Or do you have a home voice assistant like Alexa? I’d love to know. You can always comment on this blog post, email us here, or reach out via Instagram or Facebook.
Happy decorating!
P.S. We listen to tens of thousands of hours of music per year in our household. I don’t know how we’d get any boring chores done without music. We gladly pay for Spotify without ads because music is so important to our quality of life.
