Our WILD Spring Break Plans

Spring break for our family is finally here!

Our Spring Break in New Jersey always starts on Good Friday. It feels very late this year. Some schools on the West Coast had their Spring Break in March.

Spring Break is a little funny for adults because we didn’t have one before kids, and we certainly won’t have one after our kids are done with school.

All that to say, we are not taking a tropical vacation over Spring Break. *whomp, whomp*

We had plans to repair our house trim, but that plan met a swift end due to a finicky lift and the slope of our yard. We’re back to brainstorming how to fix the trim without doing something scary.

It’s not a fear of heights that gets me.

It’s not even a fear of falling.

It’s the landing.

My new full-time job might be trying to find someone who will do this small, but scary job. A year ago, I got tired of being ghosted by contractors, so I gave up on this task. I can take a hint! No one wanted to do it and use their words to tell me.

We have a few fun things planned to do as a family this week. We also have our Carriage House to work on.

There will be no new blog posts the rest of this week.

Follow along on Instagram or Facebook stories to see how everything is progressing. I’ll give you a hint: the Carriage House project has escalated slightly, as all our projects do.

I’ll be back next Monday with a fresh new blog post!

Happy Spring Break!
