Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

My middle school-aged daughter has been reading the Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children series and LOVES IT.

The books have 4.5 stars out of 5 from almost 800 reviews, so she’s not alone in her love for this series.

The third book in the series was at the top of her wishlist for Christmas.

If you’ve read the books or seen the movie, then you’ll know the story is fascinating and magical, but a little dark and tense at times. This is definitely NOT a story for younger kids, but is something that older kids and teens may enjoy depending on their reading tastes.
