Happy List #15
Hello, hello! How are you?
This week I shared what’s happening in my daughter’s colorful room. Emphasis on colorful. I also kicked off March with a burlap pot o’ gold craft. It’s fun, happy and perfect for St. Patrick’s Day.
Here’s what’s making me all happy and inspired this week.
Kitchen Makeover
Adrienne and her husband started flipping homes in Arizona awhile ago. The before and after pictures of the homes they’ve remodeled are pretty incredible. This is the kitchen in their latest completed project.
I’m loving those dark cabinets with that waterfall counter. I’m also a sucker for ceiling beams.

Bathroom Vanity With Drawers
I like the idea of deep, functional drawers in a bathroom instead of cabinet space.
At least in my house, I find things just get lost (or shoved) in the back of bathroom cabinets. If all of those drawers worked and weren’t just hiding plumbing, it seems like it would be a far more functional use of space – at least for our household.
Also, more dark cabinets in navy for me to drool over.

DIY Cabinet and Drawer Pulls
I have some cabinet knobs in my current kitchen that leave a lot to be desired.
This solution wouldn’t work in my kitchen, but it would be fun to try it somewhere. Maybe on a dresser?

I also like the shape and color of that wood cutting board. I’m on the hunt for something similar for my kitchen.

Diagonal Organization
Organizing utensils diagonally makes so much sense to me.
Why don’t more people do this?

Chalk Wall Mural
A dad drew this chalk mural for his son’s room. Holy cow, right? Someone has some amazing artistic talent. This type of artwork is one that would work for a child of any age.
The rest of the room is pretty awesome too.
The rocking chair the owners wanted for this space was out of their budget, so they purchased a more affordable chair, removed the legs and added the rocking base. Clever, right?

Garden Graffiti
Have you heard of this? Garden graffiti.
How cool would this moss graffiti be at a school, an office or in city center spaces?
I’m not entirely sure how it all works and is maintained, but I like the concept.
Someone figure it out for me, would you? Pretty please.

Happy Friday, folks. Go forth and enjoy your weekend!
