7 Lucky Horseshoe Decor Ideas for Your Home

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up, which means symbols of good luck are top-of-mind right now. I don’t know about you, but I’ll take all the good luck I can muster these days, so I’ve rounded up 7 lucky horseshoe decor ideas for your home.

This isn’t a new theme for me. I decorated a good luck horseshoe ten years ago that I still love and hang in our house. You can get the easy directions for that here.

Here are the 7 lucky horseshoe decor ideas for your home.

You can buy these, of course, but some of them would be easy enough to replicate on your own! My creative gears have been turning ever since I galloped down this path.

Wrapped Horseshoe | Etsy

Hello, happiest thing I’ve ever seen. I don’t care if this fits my home style or not. I love this.

I would like to see how they finished the back, though, before I attempt one of my own.

Shamrock Wreath | Etsy

This shamrock wall hanging or wreath made from horseshoes is so clever. I love two symbols of good luck merged into one idea.

If you put bumpers on the back of this so it doesn’t bang, it could be a door wreath. You could even switch the hanger to a sturdy green ribbon.

Succulent Horseshoe | Etsy

This seems like a “why didn’t I think of this?” idea. It would be a fun thing to make with friends for a craft night.

Bird Horseshoe | Etsy

What I like about this embellished horseshoe is that it might appeal to someone who wouldn’t ever think of hanging a horseshoe in their house because it’s not their typical style.

Intertwined Horseshoes | Etsy

Do you know anyone getting married this summer? This would be a sweet gift.

Horseshoe Bookends | Etsy

Here’s another way to incorporate horseshoes into your decor that isn’t overly country or farmhouse in style. These bookends do come in different colors, which broadens their glam to rustic appeal.

Personalized Horseshoe | Etsy

Another personalized horseshoe idea. Love this for a family or even a business.

I wasn’t joking about my creative wheels turning after seeing how other people are crafting with horseshoes. It’s so inspiring.

I do have and display more than one horseshoe around here, as I occasionally find them on our property.

Do you already decorate with horseshoes? Do you ride horses and live on a horse farm? How’s your luck these days?

Let me know! Comments are the gold at the end of a rainbow, so please help me fill up my pot o’ gold. You can comment on this blog post, email me here, or reach out via direct message on Instagram or Facebook.
