In Praise Of: Group Halloween Shirts

You can thank Handy Husband for this Group Halloween Shirts blog post because he got me so good the other day.

I told him I had found the perfect Halloween couple’s costume for us and showed him the below picture of these salt and pepper shirts.

He glances at the picture and without missing a beat says, “Are these perfect for us because you’re so salty?”

“No, It’s because of how much black pepper I put on everything.”

I think we all know who the salty one is around here now! Hahaha! It has been a week and that whole conversation still makes me laugh. Marry someone you can joke around with.

That encounter led me down an entire rabbit hole of imagining our family dressing up for Halloween. I’m not sure I could get Mr. Salty and the rest of our crew to go along with it AND be seen in public wearing coordinating shirts though. A girl can dream.

However, you might have a family, a friend group, or co-workers who are game to dress up together! I like this idea because the commitment is only to wear a T-shirt. No wigs or facepaint are required.

Check out the group Halloween shirts I found.

Spice Girls | Etsy

Imagine all the folks in your book club or Bible study sporting these “Spice” Girls t-shirts. You’d be the most fun club around!

Monopoly Shirts | Etsy

Any Monopoly fans?

This idea was considered acceptable by my 14-year-old. He wanted the “Chance” card shirt but that’s not shown in this photo.

PacMan | Etsy

Who loves a retro game? This one is for you. My kids also deemed this idea acceptable.

Oh, you could have fun with these shirts!

P.S. I think the jack o’lanterns in this picture are AI generated. They seem a little…off.

Inside Out Movie | Etsy

Another easily recognizable set of shirts from the Inside Out movies.

Condiments | Etsy

There’s a little something for everyone with these favorite condiment t-shirts!

Handy Husband would be Sriracha. He puts that stuff on everything, which is starting to make me question my cooking skills. I would probably choose Basil Pesto.

P.S. As a side note, one of my kids used to think that “soy sauce” was “soil sauce.” Hahaha.

Care Bears | Etsy

Did anyone else have a Care Bear growing up? I loved that thing.

There was a Care Bear story book I would read to my kids when they were little and I can still remember this line in the book. “Sharing takes caring and spreads it all around.”

When my kids didn’t want to share, I’d quote the Care Bears book. They were thrilled.

Scratch N Sniff Stickers | Etsy

I just realized that my son did not know what scratch-and-sniff stickers were. It might be because he could not be trusted with stickers as a little kid.

Or maybe they didn’t make them in the early 10s? Maybe people younger than me wouldn’t recognize these images?

No matter! They missed out. I loved scratch-and-sniff stickers as a kid and would happily wear one of these shirts.

One other thing that I love about all of these shirts is that you could wear them outside of Halloween and it wouldn’t be weird.

There’s still time to order before Halloween. If you do wear any of these shirts, send me a picture!

Do you dress up for Halloween? Do you do group or couple’s costumes? I’d love to know. Please leave a comment on this blog post, email us here, or reach out via Instagram or Facebook.

Happy Halloween.
